Her work has been shaped by years of experience in community development, residential youth work, education, youth engagement, and family support. Along the way, she has come to value resilience, authentic relationship-building, and the importance of meeting people where they are. For nearly two decades in the public school system, she supported students and families in navigating complex educational settings, advocating for student needs, and responding to behaviour-related challenges. She has also worked closely with families affected by substance use, and with children and youth with existing diagnoses and IEPs.

 

Hilary brings a practical, compassionate, and solution-focused approach to private practice. She works with individuals and families through an attachment lens, using emotionally focused and strengths-based approaches to build connection, clarity, and meaningful change at a pace that feels right for each person, helping clients draw on their own inner strengths.

 

Outside of her work, Hilary finds renewal in nature, walking along the beach, practicing mindfulness, and spending meaningful time with family and friends.
